A few screens from a UI design for a hypothetical music app. This was an exercise in designer-client rapport, the client being a team of student app designers, from the IT department, who described their target audience as, “Older folks who care more about music than technology.”

From an array of possible themes, the jukebox motif was selected as a visualization of, "Timeless classics." A dark night yields to an illuminated horizon, on sign up or log in, while activation of the app is indicated by the lights of the jukebox flickering to life with an audible sizzle and pop.
